The 15010, on the other hand, has a huge cup (like the Hercules stand photos) which allows the bass clarinet to pivot hither and yon - until it finally comes to rest in a position where all the torsional weight of the bass clarinet is resting on one key or another, instead of the key-free area. The photos of the 15010N show a cup at the bottom of the stand which is smaller, and has a slot in it. However, that's not what the pictures (nor prices) of the two products suggest. Upon objecting to this, I was informed by the seller that the 15010N is just the nickle-plated version of the 15010, and that they are otherwise the exact same stand. I finally received my order only to find that I was charged for the 15010N, but received the 15010.
